Located about 3 hours from Namchi, Tashiding Monastery is one of the holiest and oldest monasteries in Sikkim. Founded in the 17th century by Ngadak Sempa Chempo Phunshok Rigzing, it is perched on a hilltop between the Rathong and Rangeet rivers. The monastery is revered for its sacred chorten, known as Thongwa Rangdol, which is believed to cleanse sins. The peaceful atmosphere here offers a deep sense of spirituality.

After breakfast head to Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest and most significant Buddhist monasteries in Sikkim. Located about 24 kilometers (15 miles) from Gangtok, it takes around 1 hour to reach. The monastery is famous for its impressive architecture, beautiful interiors, and the Golden Stupa. It is an important center for Tibetan Buddhism and offers stunning views of the surrounding hills.
Drive to Tashi View Point, located about 8 kilometers (5 miles) from Gangtok. The viewpoint offers spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga range and other Himalayan peaks. It is a great spot for photography and enjoying the serene environment.
